The short answer
For most Raipur businesses, a professional monthly digital marketing retainer costs between ₹15,000 and ₹40,000 per month, plus your ad budget. Larger organisations such as hospitals, real estate developers and multi-location brands typically spend ₹75,000 or more per month on a full-service retainer.
Anything far below that usually means templated posts, no video and no real strategy. Anything far above it should come with a dedicated team and serious reporting.
What you actually pay for
- Content production: reels, graphics, captions and shoots. Video is the biggest cost driver.
- Platform management: posting, community replies, Google Business Profile updates.
- Strategy: deciding what to post, for whom and why.
- Ads management: setting up, testing and optimising Google and Meta campaigns.
- SEO: keyword research, on-page fixes, content and local listings.
- Reporting: knowing what worked so next month is better.

Ad budget is separate (and should be)
Your ad spend should be paid directly to Google or Meta from your own account. Many local businesses start with ₹15,000–₹30,000 a month in ad spend and scale up once the cost per lead is proven. If an agency bundles ad spend into a single fee and won’t show you the ad account, ask why.
What a website costs
A business website costs far less than an e-commerce store or a custom portal. The price depends on the number of pages, features like booking or payments, and whether content and photos are included. Always ask for a fixed quote with a list of pages and features.
Five ways to avoid wasting money
- Ask to see real work for businesses like yours.
- Insist on access to your own ad accounts and pages.
- Agree what will be reported every month before you start.
- Be wary of guaranteed rankings or guaranteed viral content.
- Give it three months. Social media and SEO compound over time.
